Day 13: Donkey
Verses: Luke 2:1-5
Back Then: Here is another animal we assume was in the story. Although the donkey was not named, it seems impossible for Mary to have made the journey without the assistance of a donkey. Donkeys were beasts of burden. They were work animals. The donkey was easy to overlook, but important.
Today: There are not many unsung heroes today. It is better to be not well known but well used by God than to be well known but useless. Pray God uses you to be a blessing today.
Family Talk: What is one thing you have noticed another family member doing that is a blessing to your family?
Picture Help: The donkey is supposed to look into the stable. He can't be too low though because something will go under it. Don't worry too much about spacing, but there is a reason he is beside the stable not under the stable. Color wise, use whatever donkey color would look good against your backdrop.
