Day 9 : Camel
Verses: Matthew 2:1
Back Then: OK, so camels aren’t mentioned in the Bible. We put the wise men on camels because the are from the east and journeyed a long way. It is quite possible they rode camels.
Today: It is important to separate fact from fiction. There is no harm in pretending the wise men rode camels because it doesn’t contradict the Bible. Be careful in adding details or ideas to what the Bible says. Make sure it fits with the rest of Scripture. Learn from the Bible, don’t try to make a better version of the Bible.
